8 inch Dobsonians by Mel Bartels
I built several 8 inch scopes as a quick go and observe option. The
plastic tube scope came about when a club member acquired a lifetime supply
of plastic tubing of various diameters. The plastic was a bit on the heavy
side but very strong and durable and easy to make scopes from.
